Evaluna is a dedicated technical entrepreneur who is passionate about the bio-based economy. She brings her expertise in Chemistry and Environmental Sciences to the team. Thanks to her analytical thinking and experience in the laboratory she is fit to lead Caffe Inc. as the CTO. Evaluna is the (technical) founder of Caffe Inc. who has led the product development and R&D activities from the very first beginning.
To her, Caffe Inc. is much more than developing a great idea. It is about becoming pioneers on waste valorization and demonstrating that nowadays waste equals value. Evaluna is determined to share this great circular solution with the rest of the world!
Nicola plays a vital role at Caffe Inc. as our Operational Plant Manager. Originally from Italy, Nicola brings a wealth of experience from the food processing and biotechnology sectors. His academic journey laid the groundwork in Chemical Engineering and Biotechnological Processes, forming the backbone for a career that combines technical know-how with a deep commitment to sustainability. At Caffe Inc., Nicola takes charge of ensuring smooth production operations and the quality standards. He leads the way in preparing our systems and methodologies for future scalability.
Nageshvar Patel is research and development director at Caffe Inc. with the experience in running different international projects in food innovation and product design and development. He holds a PhD in Food Science and two masters in Food Technology and Post Harvest Engineering. He believes that coffee is much more than a cup of drink, contains valuable ingredients and too precious to be thrown away. In his role he is determined to decompose the coffee waste while using green chemistry to transform coffee waste from an unwanted by-product into valuable ingredients.
Cynthia Staats is the Business Development Manager at Caffe Inc. She brings a wealth of experience, with an impressive commercial background. She combines her sales expertise with her passion for sustainability, contributing to the further growth of Caffe Inc. and a world without coffee waste. Cynthia strongly believes in Caffe Inc.’s mission to create value from coffee waste and contribute to a more sustainable future. She excels at listening to customer needs and thinking creatively to find a balance between the customer’s desires and the capabilities of Caffe Inc. Cynthia strongly believes that looking beautiful, in skin, hair and clothes, nowadays doesn’t mean it needs to be all new. Looking around, we already have enough waste!
Elena manages the operations and feedstock at Caffe Inc., she harnesses her academic background in Sustainability Science and a recent Masters in ‘Sustainable Business and Innovation’ from Utrecht University to infuse our office operations with purpose-driven practices. She ensures that we produce the highest quality coffee oil and blocks and ensures our customers receive the correct ingredients. She coordinates the feedstock of our suppliers at the right quality delivered on time for being processed.
Feyza Kaya is the backbone of our back office and finance operations at Caffe Inc. With a background in hospitality and office administration, Feyza thrives on keeping everything organized and ensuring smooth operations behind the scenes. Her passion for efficient processes and unwavering support makes her an essential part of our team.

Elfrieke van Galen is a sustainability and business expert. She has a legal and business background and extensive management experience in the logistics and service industries. Currently, Elfrieke is partner at TheRockGroup and full fills several non- executive roles.

Marga Jansen is an extremely talented quality assurance professional who is passionate about product development and sustainability. She has been working in the cosmetics industry for more than 30 years. Marga is particularly skilled in product creation, having been involved in the Dutch personal care industry.
