We are Caffe Inc. and we believe that no resource should go to waste! We have developed a 100% circular solution in which coffee waste is completely reused. Our ultimate goal is a world without coffee waste.

We produce coffee oil and oil derivatives for the personal care and food industries and coffee blocks for the bio-based materials industry. We have an R&D pipeline that includes innovative coffee colourants.

As we scale up our production in Amsterdam and commercial activities, we are expanding the team to accelerate growth.

Role description
As Commercial Growth Associate, you will play a key role in supporting the commercial growth of Caffe Inc. You will work closely with our Business Development Manager and broader team to build customer relationships, find opportunities and engage potential customers.

This role is ideal for a commercially driven professional, preferably with experience in ingredient supplier environments, who enjoys working hands-on in a fast-growing scale-up and contributing to sustainable innovation.

As Commercial Growth Associate, you will play a pivotal role in driving our company’s growth by identifying and capitalising on new business opportunities with like-minded companies with a heart for sustainable and innovative ingredients.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting the Business Development Manager in managing and expanding the commercial pipeline
  • Identifying, qualifying, and following up on leads and customer opportunities
  • Preparing commercial proposals, presentations, and customer documentation
  • Maintaining relationships with existing customers and partners
  • Supporting market exploration for new applications in personal care, food, and biobased materials
  • Assisting in conference and trade fair participation, including preparation and follow-up
  • Keeping CRM and commercial reporting up to date
  • Coordination of export documentation
  • Reporting to the CEO and collaborating closely with the Business Development Manager

Profile

We are looking for someone with the following profile:

  • HBO or higher education (Commercial, Applied Sciences, or related)
  • 2+ years of experience in a B2B commercial role, preferably within an ingredient supplier, personal care, food, or specialty materials company
  • Strong affinity with natural, sustainable, and circular products
  • Comfortable supporting sales processes from lead to deal
  • Strong communication skills, written and verbal
  • Proactive, organized, and able to work independently
  • Residing close to Amsterdam
  • Professional proficiency in English and Dutch
  • EU work permit is a requirement
