Internship vacancy: Eutectic & Lipid Chemistry (6 Months)

Caffe Inc. is looking for a highly motivated Master’s chemistry (applied Bachelor/Masters) student with a passion for fat/lipideutectic or chemistry, product formulation, and organic chemistry science. If someone has training and interests in wet lab chemistry they are also welcome to apply.? We’re offering an exciting 6-month internship opportunity where you’ll contribute directly to innovative project at the intersection of general chemistry and cutting-edge material science.

Job Summary:
Development and comprehensive testing of novel lipid-based serum product for cosmetics application formulations. This role is central to our pipeline, focusing on taking concepts from theoretical design through lab-scale formulation, stabilization, rigorous characterization, and performance testing.

Key Responsibilities:
Formulation Development:
• Conduct feasibility studies and troubleshoot formulation challenges.
• Optimization of process parameters.
Analytical Testing & Characterization:
• Design and execute comprehensive analytical testing protocols for lipid-based serumsnewly developed product.
• Perform physical and chemical characterization (e.g., rheology, viscosity, pH, osmolality, stability testing under various conditions).
• Conduct stability studies (accelerated and real-time) to assess product shelf-life and integrity.
Data Analysis & Reporting:
• Maintain meticulous laboratory notebooks and prepare detailed technical reports, presentations, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Present findings to internal team.

We’re looking for:
• Master’s students or applied Bachelor student in in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Materials Science, or Chemical Engineering.
• Strong theoretical and practical experimental skills in product formulation especially in cosmetics and foodwet chemistry.
• Solid organic chemistry experimental skills.
• Analytical an testing skills in physio-chemical analysis of developed product.
• Demonstrated ability to design and execute experiments.
• Open to work in challenging and constantly changing scenarios.
