About Caffe Inc.

Caffe Inc. is a fast-growing, Amsterdam-based startup turning coffee waste into high-value, sustainable products. We process and manufacture everything in-house — from receiving the feedstock to delivering a refined, food-grade or cosmetic-grade product. Our dynamic, hands-on team is passionate about innovation, sustainability, and scaling circular economy solutions. Working here means being part of an agile, collaborative environment where ideas turn into action quickly, and every team member plays a key role in our success story.

This is a hands-on role for someone who combines strong quality and safety ownership with the ability to work closely with production. You will act as a key link between compliance, QC, and operations, while helping the company maintain high standards during scale-up.

  • Prepare and maintain Technical Data Sheets, Safety Data Sheets, Certificates of Analysis, product specifications, and all other quality documentation for Caffe Inc. products.
  • Coordinate internal audits, verification activities, management review inputs, and follow-up of corrective and preventive actions.
  • Monitor that raw materials, intermediates, finished products, and packaging materials meet internal specifications and regulatory or customer requirements.
  • Support implementation and safeguarding of matters relating to safety, health, and hygiene throughout the production plant.
  • Assist the Production Manager in daily manufacturing and process operations on-site and operations during on-call hours.
  • Report to the CTO.

About you

  • Degree in Food Technology, Industrial Engineering, Quality Management, or a related technical field.
  • Hands-on experience (2+ years) in quality operations within a production environment.

  • Experience with food production systems is valuable, and affinity with cosmetic, biomaterial, or industrial product quality systems is also important.
  • Strong sense of ownership, attention to detail, and problem-solving mindset.
  • Must be available for in-person work at our Amsterdam production facility.
  • Language: English good, Dutch is a plus.
  • A valid work permit

What we offer

  • A 1-year contract
  • 28 days of holidays
